Terms and
advertising rules.
These terms govern purchases, billboard takeovers, advertisements, and destination websites on timesquare.fun. By submitting an advertisement or completing a purchase, you agree to them.
The service
Customers may make a one-time payment to take over a digital billboard. The placement can include a brand name, short message, media, social handle, call to action, and destination website. A placement remains active until another customer validly takes over that billboard or the placement is removed under these terms.
Billboard availability, position, appearance, pricing, and virtual scene design may change. No minimum duration, number of impressions, clicks, conversions, or commercial result is guaranteed.
Purchases and takeovers
The accepted offer shown at checkout is a one-time payment. Every unclaimed billboard starts with a $5 minimum offer. Customers may pay any amount at or above the minimum shown for that specific screen. After a verified payment, that screen's next minimum becomes exactly $1 more than the amount just paid. For example, a $6 purchase sets the next minimum to $7, while a $9 purchase sets it to $10. Each billboard maintains its own independent price sequence. A successful takeover displaces the previous owner, and historical ownership and amounts paid may remain publicly visible as part of the marketplace record.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. Taxes and currency conversion may be applied at checkout. A checkout redirect alone does not confirm ownership; a successful, verified payment notification does.
Websites we allow
Advertisers may link to lawful, legitimate, safe-for-work websites such as business websites, SaaS products, ecommerce stores, mobile applications, creator portfolios, blogs, communities, events, and nonprofit projects. The advertisement and landing page must accurately represent the promoted product or service.
Destination URLs must use HTTP or HTTPS, load without malicious behavior, and must not conceal or automatically redirect visitors to prohibited content. Advertisers must have authority to promote the destination website.
Prohibited content
Advertisements and destination websites must not contain, promote, facilitate, or redirect to:
- Adult or sexually explicit content, escort services, or content involving minors.
- Gambling, betting, lotteries, or chance-based games involving money or prizes.
- Illegal goods or services, controlled substances, weapons, or instructions that facilitate wrongdoing.
- Malware, phishing, deceptive redirects, impersonation, scams, pyramid schemes, or misleading business practices.
- Hate speech, harassment, graphic violence, exploitation, or content that targets protected groups.
- Unlicensed financial products, payday lending, investment schemes, or cryptocurrency promotions.
- Unsubstantiated medical or wellness claims, regulated professional advice, or products requiring authorization.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property rights.
Advertiser responsibilities
You must provide accurate information and own, license, or otherwise have permission to use every logo, image, video, name, claim, and link you submit. You must comply with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, intellectual-property, privacy, and industry-specific laws.
You grant timesquare.fun a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, and link your submitted content for operating and promoting the virtual billboard service while your placement is active and in public ownership history.
Review and enforcement
Submissions are subject to automated or manual review. We may reject, hide, suspend, replace, or remove a placement or destination URL that violates these rules, applicable law, payment-provider requirements, or poses a risk to visitors or the service. We may ask an advertiser to provide replacement creative or documentation.
Removal for a rules violation does not restore billboard ownership and may not qualify for a refund, except where required by law. We may preserve records needed for fraud prevention, disputes, compliance, and payment auditing.
Analytics and availability
Impression, visitor, and click counts are informational estimates and may be filtered, delayed, corrected, or reset to address bots, abuse, outages, or measurement errors. The service is provided on an “as available” basis.
Liability and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, timesquare.fun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, lost revenue, lost data, campaign performance, third-party websites, or another customer taking over a billboard. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected placement.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue in good faith.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the marketplace, law, or payment requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
Report an advertisement, request a review, or ask a legal or payment question at support@timesquare.fun. Include the billboard URL and a clear description of the issue.
